Welcome to Canada Weather. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our weather forecasting service, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Canada Weather, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

- Historical weather data (where available)
- Weather-related educational content
The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Eligibility and User Accounts
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3.2 No Registration Required
Canada Weather does not require user registration or account creation for basic service access. You can use our Service anonymously.

- Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)
- Open-Meteo API
- Various meteorological observation networks

- Numerical weather prediction models
5.2 Accuracy Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Weather forecasting is inherently uncertain. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that forecasts will be 100% accurate. Weather conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Weather forecasts are predictions, not certainties
- Accuracy decreases for longer-range forecasts
- Local conditions may vary from forecasts
- Severe weather can develop with little warning
- You should not rely solely on our forecasts for critical decisions
5.3 No Liability for Forecast Errors
Canada Weather is not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from:
- Inaccurate forecasts or data
- Delayed or missing weather alerts
- Decisions made based on our forecasts
- Property damage or personal injury related to weather events
- Business losses due to weather-related decisions
Always consult multiple sources for critical weather-dependent decisions, especially for safety-critical situations.
6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on Canada Weather, including but not limited to:
- Website design, layout, and graphics
- Text, articles, and educational content
- Logos, trademarks, and branding
- Software, code, and algorithms
- Data compilations and presentations
...is owned by Canada Weather or our licensors and protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
6.2 Weather Data
Raw weather data from government sources (Environment Canada) is public domain. However, our presentation, compilation, analysis, and value-added services are proprietary.
6.3 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include:
- Commercial use or exploitation
- Redistribution or republication
- Modification or derivative works
- Removal of copyright notices
7. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Environment Canada, Open-Meteo). We are not responsible for:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANADA WEATHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

- Damages resulting from forecast inaccuracies
- Damages from service interruptions or unavailability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 CAD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canada Weather, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

- Your violation of any rights of others

11. Service Availability

17. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
18. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
